Who am I.?. As you will have read on the home page I am a 70 year old man who has strong view about finding a way to world peace. As I believe that this is the only way we can all find peace and contentment. I worked in our family decorating business all my working life. And for the last 15 years of my working life I also worked part time in my Photographic and web site construction business. My photographs and web sites can be found at the "All john4 web sites page". Do I believe that the only way to be good and find peace is to believe in a God.? any God.? NO.!! not at all. But I do believe that if you follow the teachings of most of the worlds religions peace can be found. Most religions teach us that God is love and that God demands love in return. This means the following:
Even if you take God out of the above, but followed the rules to the letter you can see that war would end. Peace would follow, along with the rich and strong helping those in need. Burglar alarms would not be needed, families and couples would stay together, you could leave your car unlocked. Ladies and girls could walk out at night knowing that they are safe and need not worry about rape or attack. My personal belief is, this is what God wants for us, and I know that if we all followed these few rules we could all live in peace together: No racialism, no conflict in religions, we would all be the children of God. I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ because I find it impossible to fault his teachings. To think he only spread his teachings over 3 years and was executed as a criminal aged 33 years. But he has a following today that is one of the biggest in the world. This is in itself miraculous. Finally I will say this to my web site visitors who are not believers as I say to all who say to me: John you prove to me that there is a God.! My answer is always this: You prove to me that there is no God.! A last thought for you all. Has any other of earths creatures the power to achieve what man has: music, art, buildings, medicines, space travel.? Mankind's main problem is that he does not value what God has given to him. Follow Gods law and peace will return.! |
